What is your commitment to change? Megan Fowler, founder and CEO of Discover Core Wellness, is committed to facilitating long-term change in the relationship you have with your body. She guides her clients with compassion and grace. Instead of seeing limitations in your body, Megan observes the resources and resiliency you’ve developed.
Megan believes in the healing power of intentional touch, something she first learned from her Nanny’s careful hand and foot massages. As she cares for her clients, she keeps these core questions in mind, “How can I help you feel seen, feel heard, and feel cared for?” Megan’s work is rooted in empowering clients to recognize their own bodily autonomy. She empowers them to pay attention to their habits so they can make informed decisions about their movement and see physical discomfort as an opportunity for long-term change.
Fowler brings over 14 years of experience to her private practice and has continued her education so she can work with people through all of life’s transitions. While working with the Strength and Conditioning department at Clarkson University her love for movement really developed. She noticed more impactful outcomes when manual therapy is combined with movement. She has had the honor to work with collegiate athletes, oncology patients, orthopedic, prenatal, and postnatal patients.
Megan earned an Associate’s Degree in Massage Therapy at NCCC and is a graduate of the Anatomy Trains Structural Integration Program. She holds a massage therapy license in both Maine (MT6672) and New York (024080) and is a Slings Myofascial Training Teacher Foundation Level.
Dedicated to empowering youth, in 2023 she created the Youth Wellness Scholarship to help youth in her community have access to structural integration series work.
