Meet Megan

What is your commitment to change?

Megan Fowler, founder of Discover Core Wellness, is committed to supporting long-term change in the relationship you have with your body.

Her approach is rooted in seeing the body as a whole—rather than focusing on isolated symptoms. Instead of looking for limitations, Megan observes the resources and resiliency already present, and works from there.

This perspective is shaped by over 16 years of experience, as well as her continued study of Structural Integration, manual therapy, and movement. Her work weaves together hands-on care with movement, creating an approach that supports lasting, integrated change.

Megan’s understanding of touch began early, through her Nanny’s careful hand and foot massages—an experience that continues to shape how she shows up in her work today. As she works with clients, she returns to a simple question:How can you feel seen, heard, and cared for in this process?

When you work with Megan, the process is collaborative and responsive. There’s space to explore, notice, and reconnect—supporting change in a way that feels grounded and sustainable.

Her interest in movement deepened while working with the Strength and Conditioning department at Clarkson University, where she began to see how combining manual therapy with movement can create more meaningful and lasting change.

Megan has had the honor of working with a wide range of individuals, including collegiate athletes, oncology patients, orthopedic, prenatal, and postnatal populations. Through this work, she’s seen that meaningful, lasting change often happens when manual therapy and movement are integrated.

She earned her Associate’s Degree in Massage Therapy from NCCC and is a graduate of the Anatomy Trains Structural Integration program. She holds massage therapy licenses in both New York (024080) and Maine (MT6672), and is a Slings Myofascial Training Teacher (Foundation Level).

In 2023, Megan created the Youth Wellness Scholarship to help expand access to care for young people in her community.
